Hey there humans, WELCOME to a series of a blog covering everything about “Mechatronics”.

In this blog, we will look into the basic brief definition of Mechatronics, the origin and its applications.

Mechatronics is a Japanese origin concept of1970s, which can be defined as the application of electrical control and computer technology to regulate the motion of mechanical systems

Mechatronics is a branch of engineering which is a combination of definite Mechanical Engineering with Electrical control and computer science. Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary approach to the manufacturing system design and the product.

The basic elements which mechatronics system constitutes of are as follows:

Actuators, Sensors, input signal conditioning and interfacing, digital control architecture, output signal conditioning and interfacing, graphical displays.

Some of the most commonly noticeable applications of mechatronics are:

There’s a lot of other applications of the mechatronics system which are easily noticeable to us such as a Dishwasher, a Water level maintaining system in water tanks, automation and robotics ,etc. which we will discuss in the next upcoming blogs.

Please feel free to follow me for some amazing Mechatronics related concepts, we will be digging deeper into this concept, as we hardly can deny the fact that almost all engineering is mechatronics.

QOB( question of the blog):

Do you guys think we can consider Mechatronics engineering as a futuristic Engineering branch?

Well that’s me Aman Dinodiya signing off, thanks for reading, and will see you in the next :)
